We are delighted to have you as a Spectrum Speech Pathology client.

However, there are a few important things that you need to be aware of so that we can provide the best therapy program for your child.

We have a large number of people wanting to benefit from our services. To ensure that we are able to provide a quality service, it is important that you understand our attendance and cancellation policy, as we are unable to keep appointments for people who do not attend their appointments & programs.

We are aware that things happen—cars break down, kids get sick, important travel commitments crop up at short notice. But cancellations and “non-attendances” make it very difficult for us to provide a quality service and furthermore impacts on your child’s progress.

Notification of any cancellation must be received at least 48 hours before your appointment otherwise cancellation fees will apply.

A full cancellation fee will apply for more than one cancellation in any one (school) term, for any reason.

A full cancellation fee will apply for ALL non-attendances/’no-shows’ without notice, for any reason.

If you fail to attend more than one appointment in a school term (with or without notification), we may need to place your child back on our waiting list.

Notification must be made by phone—if the phone is unattended, you must leave a message. We are unable to accept notification of cancellations by SMS or email.

Holiday program cancellations must be within 4 business days prior to commencement of program.
