Science Station – Burwood – July 2026
Get ready for a holiday program full of discovery, creativity and hands-on fun! Join us at our Science Station Holiday Program where children will become mini scientists as they explore exciting experiments and activities. From growing crystals and creating fizzing reactions to testing “Sink or Float?”, making Skittles dance in milk, exploring germ experiments and much more — there’s something to spark every curious mind!
Program Goals
Children will work in small groups to practise:
• Developing the skills to follow individual and group instructions
• Collaborate with peers in a team
• Negotiate and compromise with peers
• Persevere with challenging tasks
• Thinking flexibly during experiments
• Executive functioning skills using a ‘Get Ready, Do, Done’
framework
Our Science Station program encourages curiosity, teamwork and confidence through engaging, hands-on learning experiences and is lots of FUN!
This program supports NDIS Capacity Building goals, including functional communication, social participation, and transitions to new environments. Our Science Station program helps to support the children’s participation and to achieve their unique therapy goals.
To build parent capacity, information, feedback, and flyers for parents are included as part of the program.
