Developing Narrative Language Skills
Individual Program
Our very popular Storytelling Program is back again at Moonee Ponds!
Spectrum Speech Pathology has designed an individual program to support your child’s narrative language skills. The program uses a multi-tiered language intervention curriculum to target and develop your child’s skills in comprehending and retelling narratives, including developing the important skills of personal narrative skills. This program uses Story Champs® as the framework for learning.
This Individual Program will focus on essential language and learning skills including:
- Listening comprehension
- Reading comprehension
- Answering questions about stories
- Vocabulary development
- Retelling and writing stories
- Personal narratives
Who:
Primary school children, Prep – Grade 6
Where:
Moonee Ponds Clinic
When:
Week 1: Tues 13th, Wed 14th, Thurs 15th January, 2026
Week 2: Tues 20th, Wed 21st, Thurs 22nd January, 2026
Cost:
3 x 60 minute individual sessions plus a summary report: $650, (includes costs for direct and indirect services related to the sessions)
Participants may be required to do a pre-program screening assessment –(screening cost – $226)
