Come and enjoy a Mario-themed holiday program – we’ll build karts & conquer the race course, play party games, and even make our own games!

A fun and playful program that builds curiosity, confidence, imagination and connection. This is a wonderful way for the children to share their interests and build and play ideas,

Children will work and play together to practise:

• Following the group plan to solve problems as a team
• Awareness of their body in space and how to be part of the group
• Following instructions, giving instructions and using descriptive language to create Mario themed crafts
• Having conversations about shared interests with their peers
• Developing negotiation skills
• Sharing an imagination and interacting through collaborative play
• Using the Zones of Regulation to learn about emotions when participating in games

This program supports NDIS Capacity Building goals, including functional communication, social participation, and transitions to new environments. This program helps to support the children’s participation and to achieve their unique therapy goals.

To build parent capacity, information, feedback, and flyers for parents are included as part of the program.
